Our Team
-
Fr Sinisa Milutinovic
Our fearless leader, our spiritual director and guide. Fr Sinisa serves at St Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, and has put his full support behind us, networking, spreading the news, and generously offering his time and energy to make this school a reality.
-
Paul Laroque
A retired school teacher and current parish president at St George Orthodox Church, Paul’s practicality, work ethic and “get ‘er done” attitude always motivates us to push harder.
-
Cameron Hay
Cam has always had a clear vision of what this school should be. Of course, every team needs a good accountant, and Cam is usually the one to get roped in – but in this case, it’s truly a labour of love.
-
Nikki Naherniak
Nikki is a certified Manitoba teacher and faithful member of the UOCC, who has been working day in and day out on establishing this school . Her dedication and dependability are seen and greatly appreciated.
-
Ryan Strang
Our resident “page turner and wrench turner”, Ryan is a homeschooling father with fifteen years of experience as a teacher and guidance counsellor, and an active member of St Nicholas Orthodox Church. His joyful love of learning is clear and permeates the work he does with us.
-
Zlata Hajin
An experienced school psychologist, Zlata brings a sense of calm and collectedness to our group. She is eager and reassuring, always willing to lend a hand where she is needed. Zlata belongs to the vibrant Serbian Orthodox community.
-
Elissa Hay
Elissa has dreamed of and prayed for this school for so long, and is endlessly grateful that God has chosen this moment to bring it reality. She and her husband Cam belong to the Holy Trinity OCA Cathedral, but truly we feel as if all Orthodox churches in the city are just part of our extended church family.
-
George Hanna
George is part of the Coptic Orthodox community and has more than 25 years of experience teaching math to children of all ages. His contributions are always thoughtful and valuable, and he quickly delivers on his promises.
-

Marian also comes to us from St Mark Coptic Orthodox Church. Her faithfulness and willingness to help, which stems from a strong desire to see this school come to life, has been a true blessing.
-
